I had a potluck to go to on Sunday and just happen to have enough perfect ripe tomatoes and basil in the garden to take. Here's the tomatoes and basil, just picked.

And here's what we did with it. One layer of sliced tomato, one layer of basil, one layer of fresh mozzarella, add a little olive oil, and eat. A few Sun Gold and Sweet Hundred cherry tomatoes were added to make pretty.

Here's my first head of broccoli from the garden this year.

Oh just yum! and what a pretty way or arranging it :)
You broccoli looks store bought, I am so jealous I tried to grow it once and it just went off into all different directions, it didn't want to grow a "head" :(
Beautiful pictures and yummy ideas! I love your things, your cat AND your blog!! Good job!
That tomato and basil platter looks SO GOOD!!! I wish you were bringing it to my house! :-P
Fresh mozarella + tomato + basil = win! I chop it up and put it on French bread for bruschetta all the time. Now I want some... :)
Oh I love brocolli. That head looks so fresh. I must get back into gardening next year.
