Potential Energy
This is Eric, recharging his batteries after spending the night having a great time being as rowdy as possible. It's too chilly for him to go outside, so he chooses to sleep all day and discharge his energy during the night.
Sunday, December 14, we woke up to snow and cold after having a beautiful Saturday. The low for Sunday was minus 19 degree Fahrenheit.
I made sure the feeders were full, which the finches seemed to appreciate.

brrrrrrrr
Here we have the winds but so far none of the precipitation or cold. So far.
What is it with animals and the need to sleep all day and be rowdy all night?! Our three dogs have been especially obnoxious lately. ;p
Oh, I love the birds! We have a resident song sparrow who hops around our courtyard all day. I toss out seed for him, and we have a heated outdoor bubbler for the birds...
So nice to see them!
brr thats cold! but it is really pretty :D
I had 8" of snow in the desert... burr.
expels the energy at nite...too funny...I think my children worked on the same principle
Pretty. You are probably used to all that white. I however, here in so called "sunny" Southern California, am not. We haven't had this much snow here in the High Desert in many years. And I just went to get water for my African Grey only to discover that the pipes have frozen. Waaahhhhh!
I'd stay put there Eric, unless of course you fancy a finchy flavoured snack!

I think Eric has the right idea when it's so snowy outside!
Haehe doing as a man cat should Eric! :) we have to let them know who is boss huh? :P hehe
That is very very lovely of your Momma to make sure the little birdies is ok :)
And the snow is beautiful! It seems to be snowing everywhere we look! :)
